Nava 1872 is the product of his early tea plantations. After the nationalization of Sri Lanka's Tea plantation industry, the BP de Silva family ventured into the tea blending and export business with the establishment of Tea Tang in 1979. By 1990, it was further diversified with the establishment of our speciality tea arm, 1872 Clipper Tea.
